2025.01.23 05:08 TrappedOnScooter PSA January Value Plus Scam
Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about using PSA’s January Value Plus deal. I sent in a few cards under this promo, which costs .99 per card and promises a 20-day turnaround.
After a bunch of emails back and forth, they told me they can’t actually meet the 20-day turnaround. I asked for a refund of the extra per card I paid over their regular Value plan (which has a 45-day turnaround), but they refused.
I then asked them to just return my cards and give me a full refund. They said they could, but I’d have to pay an extra for return shipping—even though I prepaid return shipping—and it would take four weeks just to get my cards back.
How do they get away with charging extra for a faster service they can’t even provide? Safe to say, I’m done with PSA.

2025.01.23 07:17 Disastrous-Treat-428 Card Usage Recommendation
I have the below cards. Recently I feel like I have obtained a lot of cashback cards and I am trying to utilise them effectively.
(LTF)Icici amazon pay - the OG, having this for most of my Amazon purchases, comes around to 10000
(LTF)Swiggy HDFC - For Swiggy and Instamart 5000 - 7000 pm
Airtel Axis - Around 1200 internet and 1000 electricity, apart from this I use it for Bigbasket and Zepto
(LTF) IDFC firstwealth - Was using a lot initially nothing now
(LTF) HSBC Platinum - No usage
(500 PA) SBI simply click - No usage, Amazon has sales where they have discounts for SBI Credit cards.
(LTF) Kiwi Yes bank - Heavily for UPI payments (6k - 7k) per month
Now I recently got SBI Cashback CC which is 999 PA. What do I do to get maximum benefit ?
Any cards to throw out? Planning to cancel my SBI simplyclick

2025.01.22 22:42 popcornhustler AT&T won’t unlock my phone because I switched from postpaid to prepaid earlier this year despite paying off my device already
Had a iPhone 13 with AT&T and paid it off by October 2024, I was able to unlock that device and use an international SIM card (I was traveling abroad at this time). Unfortunately, lost that device to water damage and had to go through AT&T’s third party insurance company, asurion, to get my current device. They sent me a locked refurbished iPhone 14 early November 2024 (did not find out it’s refurbished until yesterday) because apple no longer makes iPhone 13’s. I did not have to sign a new contract when I received this iPhone 14. I made plans around this time to travel abroad again early 2025. Called AT&T (probably someone from postpaid department) around the end of December 2024 before I would be leaving for my trip to ask about freezing my service. They said nope, must be incarcerated or deployed to do that but recommended I downgrade to a prepaid plan. I mentioned to him I would need to use an e-sim (iPhone 14 no longer has a SIM card slot) and would need to unlock my phone. The day I left the states, I switched to prepaid but did not realize that I would need to be on prepaid for 6 months before I could unlock my phone and that international calling is an extra for 7 days. After millions of phone calls back and forth with AT&T, today was the last straw. They told me there is nothing they can do on their end. They cannot unlock my phone until I’ve been on prepaid for 6 months and they will not budge on their policy. They cannot change my plan back to postpaid because I need to go in person to a store to do this. They also claimed they cannot contact asurion because I would need to call them myself. I called asurion and for some reason, my phone number is not showing up in their records so I get re-routed back to the AT&T prepaid main menu. God, I miss the days of talking to a real person and not just an automated voice.
I thought about using a third party app to unlock my phone but from what I researched and read from this subreddit, that’s not a reliable method either. What can I do in this situation??? I’ll be traveling for a while internationally and I do not want to pay every 7 days for service. I was planning to do an e-sim but I can’t with my phone locked. I believe I can delete my sim but I will lose my number lol. Please send advice 🙏🏼

| Is ,073 a reasonable price to pay for a 90,000 mile checkup on a 2018 Subaru Impreza? I just had an oil change and tire rotation done and air filters replaced so I’d just be paying for the top bullet pointed list. submitted by hannahpanda0107 to subaru [link] [comments] |
2025.01.22 21:22 Royal-Credit-4698 Visible+ vs AT&T Unlimited Max Plan
Hello everyone,
I currently have Verizon Prepaid and pay 0 per month for their Unlimited Plus plan. I heard about Visible+ promo for per month and AT&T Unlimited Max 2 lines for .
I don't know which of the two (Visible+ or AT&T prepaid) would be best to try. If you can provide any information, please provide. I would like to make the best decision on which is the best plan to choose. I don't have a problem with Verizon Prepaid, just trying to see what's out there and if I can further reduce my bill.

2025.01.23 06:36 notmuchgoingontoday Anybody passing through Orlando on Saturday morning? Daytona visitor from Germany stuck in Orlando.
Hey. Is anybody by any chance passing through Orlando on Saturday morning that I could maybe hitch a ride with going to Daytona? otherwise I'll probably have to Uber. More on that below. Happy to buy beers or pay for gas etc. I also have a new / sealed Nürburgring 24h flag that I was going to gift to whoever I get to hang out with during the weekend. It's yours.
Background: I flew in from Germany today, currently in my hotel in Orlando. I have a four day ticket and was planning on going back and forth between Orlando and Daytona. Unfortunately I was not able to pick up my already prepaid rental car as planned, and apparently I'm also not able to just rent from a different place on the spot, because I accidentally broke off a small corner of my German drivers license and none of the rental car places will accept my license as is. I'll call my German rental car rep tomorrow, but I have a feel I'll be SOL. Yes I'm an idiot, I'm aware of that...
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

2025.01.23 11:24 -Saksham- Airtel is scamming broadband users. Please read below
If you’re planning on getting broadband sometime later then please consider Act or any other ISP that uses public ip and not CGNAT. Airtel has switched to CGNAT which uses 1 public IP to give connections to multiple users, which blocks peer to peer connectivity and port forwarding doesn’t work until you get Static IP which is 299 extra with gst per month and even after that most of the ports will stay blocked. I have no idea how Airtel fucked up so bad just to save money. Going with CGNat will reduce your speeds since Airtel claims “up to” speeds their customer support will not agree with you. CGNat is cheaper for ISPs but Airtel is still charging much higher prices compared to local isps. They’re really doing a fraud with customers because if your youtube video or instagram reel works, no one will complain and people don’t care after this. I switched to ACT because they’re using GPoN with proper public IP (for now anyway). I never fan boy any ISP.. as long as they provide good service I keep them. Jio wasn’t available in my area so they didn’t provide me much info. Previously I had excitel broadband as well but their customer support is not good.
Tldr - just don’t bother getting airtel for broadband services.
I hope what I wrote made sense. Sorry for my bad english

2025.01.22 21:46 Clear_Roof4602 Planning for Japan - Reloadable Prepaid Visa
We are planning a trip to Japan 2026 - hoping to catch the Cherry Blossoms - first time traveling outside the North American continent. I know that in most parts of Japan, cash is the way to go however I am interested in obtaining, if there is any, a reloadable prepaid visa card (or Mastercard - whatever is the most popular). The purpose of it is to slowly add Yen Currency to the card, almost like a savings. I know that right now (Dec 2024) the Yen is valued at .0064 and read its a great time to exchange. Ive seen it reach 63 and 62. Any advice on how to prepare monetarily right now that the exchange rate is hitting the media.
And you can totally reply by saying its not even worth it. "Its not going to be a big saver. Or Cards are hardly used"
Travel points will be Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka. Some day trips to other places. Im traveling with a 13 year old and 8 year old.
