The same storm system that dropped record snows along the U.S. coast of the Gulf of Mexico is racing across the Atlantic and is forecast to quickly intensify as it approaches Ireland and the UK Thursday into Friday. Wind fields approaching Cat 2 hurricane status or higher are forecast over Ireland into southern Scotland. England and northern Scotland will also have unusually strong winds as well. Prepare and stay safe! This could be a historic event.

Octane 1/22/25
The show opens with a moment of silence for the late John Sykes.
Processing img xanyx2z34mee1...
The moment of silence ends and we open with a recap of Revenge, highlighting all the big moments that happened throughout the event. The recap then highlights the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship match between "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson and Lord Phillip Byron IV. The match was back and forth until Brother Julius interfered on behalf of "The Marvelous One." Despite the efforts from The Commonwealth, the damage was done as "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson placed Lord Phillip Byron IV in the figure four leglock to get the win and become the CPWA World Heavyweight Champion.
The recap ends and we open with a 30-second intro highlighting all of the stars of CPWA as The Roots' "BOOM" plays in the background. The intro ends with "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson holding the CPWA Heavyweight Championship belt over his head. Pyro goes off in the arena for a few seconds, followed by cheering from the crowd.
Brian Kinsley: We welcome you to CPWA Octane! We are coming to you from Orlando, Florida. Brian Kinsley, with Anthony Harris and Sir Samuel Stewart! It's the fallout from Revenge and new champions were crowned in what was an eventual night.
Anthony Harris: That's right, Brian. We not only have new CPWA Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions in Steve and Ad, but also CPWA Tag Team Champions in The Mortician and Mangod, and a NEW CPWA World Heavyweight Champion in "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson.
Sir Samuel Stewart: I'm none too pleased about "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson winning the top prize in CPWA, but life goes on. Let's take it to the ring!
We cut to the ring and Salute The Heroes plays in the arena as "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson makes his way to the ring. "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson enters the ring and grabs a microphone.
"Marvelous" Marshall Anderson: Don't you just love it when destiny manifests itself? When Lord Phillip Byron IV denied me a chance to be a part of The Commonwealth, he denied himself a chance at greatness. When he challenged for the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship, that was when my plan for revenge began, and wouldn't you know it, it would be at Revenge where I exacted such a thing. However, I didn't act alone in my plan.
Buckshot, Skyzoo, Promise, and Sean Price's "I'm Better Than You" plays in the arena and everyone is expecting to see "The Number One Pick," LeJuan Jones to appear, but instead it's Brother Julius. Brother Julius enters the ring and shakes "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson's hand. Brother Julius grabs a microphone.
Brother Julius: I know most of you are wondering why am I here with "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson, but the real truth is why didn't I align with him sooner than later? It's because LeJuan Jones, the so-called "Number One Pick" never gave me the credit for my assistance in making sure he was CPWA World Heavyweight Champion. When I approached "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson about making peace with LeJuan, it was more about how to eliminate him from the equation. At A New Dawn, when LeJuan got blasted by me, that was all part of the plan. I was the one who gave LeJuan the idea to form Number One Enterprises, I was the one who scouted and recruited all of those members. Meanwhile, LeJuan only looked out for himself! When I linked up with "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson, I saw that hunger, that drive, that need to be champion and not rest on his laurels. When "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson made his presence his known, that's when I knew I had found someone that I could get behind.
Suddenly, Big K.R.I.T.'s "Reign On" plays in the arena as GM Ronny Sharpe stands at the entrance stage.
GM Ronny Sharpe: I think everyone here has heard enough. Seeing as you two are in cahoots, it's only right that I announce this...At Annihilation, "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson will defend the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship against Lord Phillip Byron IV, with no interference from Brother Julius. While I'm on the subject of the CPWA World Heavyweight Champion, "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson you will be in action tonight against a member of The Commonwealth chosen by Lord Phillip Byron IV.
Brian Kinsley: Talk about serving some justice.
Sir Samuel Stewart: Whoever from The Commonwealth faces "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson, I want to see them give him a thrashing he won't forget.
We cut to a video package highlighting Kwazi Nkosi, which lasts for a minute. The video package ends and we cut back to the ring.

Match 1: Fatal Four Way Match: Tiger Kazama vs. Silver Eyes vs. Marco Rocha vs. Sharnaz Khan
A decent opener from the Cruiserweights that saw lots of high-flying action and some smooth technical wrestlling sequences. At one point in the match, Mai attempted to distract the referee, only for Silver Eyes to stop her in her tracks by forcefully kissing her on the lips. This enraged Tiger Kazama, who then attacked Silver Eyes. The referee did whatever it took to get Tiger Kazama away from Silver Eyes, which led to a low blow and a Falcon Arrow, followed by a Silver Screen Press for the three count.
